Cindy Smith

Cindy Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Huntingdon College and a Master of Education in Secondary Mathematics from Auburn University at Montgomery. She brings more than 35 years of combined professional experience, including a successful career in the financial industry before transitioning into education to pursue her passion for teaching.

Since 2015, Ms. Smith has served as a Mathematics teacher at Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham, Alabama, and is a STEM-certified educator. Over the past 15 years in education, she has taught a wide range of math courses, including classes with strong components in finance and computer applications, helping prepare students for postsecondary study and careers in STEM-related fields.
