Van Owens

Van Owens is a high school science teacher at Sardis High School with 30 years of experience in education. Throughout much of his career, he has also served as a football and basketball coach and currently coaches cross country.

Van participates in AMSTI trainings each year and incorporates Science in Motion lessons into his physical science classes. He became a QuantHub Data Ambassador in February 2026 and uses QuantHub primarily to help students strengthen and review ACT skills.
