Alabama Data Scholars

The Alabama Data Scholars program, powered by QuantHub in partnership with Innovate Alabama, is a paid 8-week summer internship that gives Alabama high school students the opportunity to apply the technical skills they develop on the QuantHub platform to real-world data and AI projects. Since launching in 2023, the program has supported 69 interns working with more than 40 employer partners across the state.

Students gain hands-on experience, professional mentorship, networking opportunities, and resume development while contributing to projects involving data management, business analytics, and integrating AI to modernize organizational workflows with partners such as Alabama Power, Southern Research, EBSCO, Altec, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Applications for the 2026 Summer Program are OPEN NOW.

Data Ambassador Program

QuantHub’s Data Ambassador Program empowers educators to bring AI and data literacy into their classrooms while serving as leaders within their schools and districts. These teachers introduce QuantHub’s interactive learning platform to students, guiding them through real-world lessons in data science, artificial intelligence, and data analysis.

Many students from ambassador classrooms have gone on to pursue careers in data science, compete in data-focused challenges, and even earn selection into QuantHub’s Data Scholars internship program. In addition to supporting their own students, Data Ambassadors act as local points of contact for other educators—helping teachers get onboarded to the platform, answering questions, and connecting schools with events and opportunities that strengthen CTE and STEM education across their communities.
