Joshua Jones

Joshua Jones is CEO of QuantHub, a DARPA-award winning education technology company that leverages generative AI to create tech literacy curriculum used in K-12 and higher education.

A lifelong entrepreneur and four-time Inc. 5000 honoree, Jones has launched six startups and led teams fluently across four languages.

Before QuantHub, he founded StrategyWise, an award-winning data science and AI consulting firm serving clients such as Samsung, Toshiba, Canon, and Chick-fil-A. Quoted in Forbes, Newsweek, CIO.com, and Entrepreneur, he is also a TEDx speaker and frequent lecturer at universities and conferences nationwide.

Joshua earned his MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and his BS from the University of Alabama. He lives in Homewood with his wife, Akiko, and their three daughters.

Alabama Data Scholars

Bridging AI and data education with real-world experience for K–12 and college students.

Alabama Data Scholars is an 8-week, work-based learning program connecting AI and data education to real-world experience for students across Alabama. Led by Dr. Kelsey Bickett, the program serves high school juniors and seniors, as well as college students, providing hands-on experience in AI, data science, and data engineering.

To date, Alabama Data Scholars has supported 69 students, partnered with 41 host organizations, and generated $3 in economic impact statewide, benefiting both small businesses and large corporations while strengthening students’ career readiness.
